Recommendations-Found family books
Please add type(romance focused,Large cast, etc)

Hello! I'm new to Goodreads, so please pardon any ignorance. I have been drawn to found family stories without realizing for many years.

Some I enjoyed recently: Chilling Effect by Valarie Valdes (space opera adventure with a thread of romance), Cerulean Chronicles by TJ Klune (cozy fantasy), A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher (fantasy).

On the classic side: Paladin of Souls (fantasy with a thread of romance) by Lois McMaster Bujold is an old favorite.

Someplace to be Flying by Charles De Lint is really good. It has a large cast and is urban fantasy

I also absolutely adore Mishap’s Heroes by K. M. Merritt. It is a d&d ish comedy with lgbtq+ characters (it is a series) and one of my comfort series.

Idk why it said one of mine…I meant comfort series ^^^
