Hi, i have new book covers and want to update my old book covers, can someone help me? My books will go live in some time on Amazon

We only update Kindle and Audible covers. For other formats, if ISBN remains the same, you can add an alternate cover edition.If there are any Kindle or Audible editions to update please give a link to relevant edition on Goodreads and link to the corresponding Amazon listing.

We do not update covers on paperback editions
there's a paperback linked to the Goodreads too, but I want the update for Kindle edition
If you want cover updated on Kindle edition please link to Kindle not paperback
if we can't change paperback's cover, does that mean deleting this version will delete the book from Goodreads altogether?
As stated in msg. 2, you would create an alternate cover edition. Nothing will be deleted.Use the button with three dots on it at the top of the book page to do this.
the isbn is different too since I had to republish it with some changes
Ok, if it is a new ISBN, just add a new edition.
I still need the Kindle version to be updated with the new cover
