Shrink Rap (Psychology Books) discussion

Hi everyone! I'm a graduate student getting my master's in School Counseling, and for my Diagnostic Tools class, I need to write a paper on a topic in the field of testing & assessment. I have been thinking, reading, and searching for one and I haven't come up with anything good. Can you guys offer some advice or shed some light on what I'm obviously not seeing?!

I had thought more seriously about doing a paper that relates to Gardner's 8 Intelligences, or some kind of career counseling paper. I don't know how to link those two to testing & assessment, though. Any help would be so greatly appreciated!
