Seconding this! Locke Lamora is amazing except that it has been on hiatus for...a decade? Due to Scott Lynch's health.

If you want a good Greek mythology retelling then try Madeline Miller’s books!

-anything lynn painter: if you want something easygoing and cute romance (special mention fake skating and bttm)
-love and gelato: THE BEST SUMMER ROMANCE and the most accurate one set in italy (from a spainyard that has gone to italy tons of times)
