August is National Romance Awareness Month!
Duration August 1-31, 2025

description

In honor of Romance Awareness, this month's challenge will encompass everything…romantic.

You know the rules…You can post your books now or post as you go, but no reading for this challenge until August 1!

Levels:
1-4 books – Puppy Love
5-8 books – Infatuation
9-12 books – Passionate
13+ books – It's Amore

-----------------------------------------------------------

For this challenge, pick and choose from any category, but for an added challenge try to pick a book from each category.

1. Cyber Love - Romance is just a click away. Read a book in which the main character meets his/her love online or has an online relationship.

2. Digital Foreplay - Romantic text messages and emails are a fun and flirty way to start a date. Read a book in which the main character and his/her love emails, texts, or sends messages through another digital form.

3. First Date - First dates can be tricky. What to wear? Where to go? What to talk about? Read a book in which the main character goes on a first date.

4. Blind Date - Blind dates are only for the brave. Read a book in which the main character is set up on a blind date or sets someone else up for a blind date.

5. Let's Get Hitched - Wedding bells are in the air. Read a book in which there is a wedding. This can either be the main character's wedding or a wedding the main character attends.

6. February 14 - Few can argue that Valentine's Day is one of the most romantic days of the year. Read a book that takes place on or around Valentine's Day.

7. The Gift of Love - What says romance better than a gift to the one you love? Read a book in which the main character is either given a romantic gift or gives one to his/her love interest.

8. Dinner for Two - It may not be original, but a romantic dinner for two is always a nice touch. Read a book in which the main character goes on a dinner date with his/her love interest.

9. You Have My Heart - Read a book with "heart" in the title or a heart on the cover.

10. Romeo and Juliet - We all know this tragic tale. Read a book in which there is a love that is doomed to fail.

Happy Reading!!
