The Procrastinators Book Club discussion

Welcome to the A Discovery of Witches Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on August 15th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

15 Aug = Chapter 1-4
16 Aug = Chapter 5-8
17 Aug = Chapter 9-12

19 Aug = Chapter 17-20
20 Aug = Chapter 21-24

So far I've read till Chapter 4.
Every time when I start reading a new book...it takes me 7 to 8 Chapters to atleast understand and get comfortable with the new world-building. But I find that Clairmont guy CREEPY.

11 chapters in and I'm still not hooked.

Honestly I’m only like 2 chapters in but this has been a pretty difficult read for me so far haha. I’ve started watching the show hoping that’ll help

Yes it's a difficult read....and GOD! I had no idea there was a show for this...Which world do I live in?

It’s an AMC show but it’s on Netflix

I'm sorry...I just read your message now. Yes I finished the entire book 3 days ago...I almost dnfed it around 60% but then I felt guilty for dnfing a book (also it was a gift from my husband) so I somehow finished it. But I have so much on my plate that I couldn’t post a review or check Goodreads.

And maybe I should watch the show as well. Is it worth it?

It’s a little slow at first and hard to figure out the exact timing in some areas but I think it’s worth the watch
