message 37: by Sherri (last edited Aug 21, 2025 11:06AM) (new)

Sherri | 273 comments I chose and finished my author of the month Joel C Rosenberg and the next in his Jihad series: The Last Days (The Last Jihad, #2) by Joel C. Rosenberg
A political thriller that took me almost all month to get through this one. I like the action and how fast-paced it was but slogged because this could be taken from our headlines today and maybe just tired of hearing this?? Maybe I wasn't in the mood but glad I stuck with and finished. Rosenberg's writing is good overall and a Christian theme of his characters comes through. After all...it is a Holy War.
