If you let us know what her mother tongue is, dual language books might be a way to go.

Example: Not-So-Perfect Rosie or Fira and the Full Moon
There are also lots of science and history books like the 'Who was..." series (for exampleWho Was Harriet Tubman?) and the Magic Schoolbus series
Edit: oops, missed the "picture book" part 🙈
Instead of chapter books, maybe try "Step into Reading" books.. a few different difficulty levels, and a myriad of topics...

Check out our picture book club, especially the Caldecott winners and the Reading Rainbow threads.
Take Away the A is really fun and practices words where with one letter taken away, another word is made.
I would also check out picture books by Dr. Seuss as they are not only rollicking but often also practice aspects of English grammar and syntax.

her English isnt that advanced, we tried reading “practical princess” but it was too much for her so im looking for something simple that wouldn’t be too boring for her :)
