Beautifully written, as always you do Taylor. I like to say that Taylor Jenkins Reid is brilliant at eliciting the complexity and nuance of relationship, and of all kinds. Once again, she did a phenomenal job! The writing about space was breathtaking, and you could feel the presence of God and philosophy in both Joan and Taylor's description as well as Vanessa's. One could really see these women's commitment to Space and what it meant for each of them. And what choosing home in light of all that miraculous space exploration could signify. The love story was beautiful, and beautifully drawn. And most poignant of course, is the adult child love story that surrounds Franny. As a mirror of what it means to be singularly loved. The book is simply unforgettable.

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11314 comments Nice!! This book has been on my radar a long time, but I haven’t seen many reviews yet. I knew I’d get to it eventually, but it’s nice to see this.

I just started a new 2026-TBR folder, and this will go in it.
