Haven't read it yet, but it's given me the same impression as World War Z from reading descriptions and whatnot. Time will tell if it's as good. There are AI and other non-human characters in it.

I read Robopocalypse a few years ago and it definitely reminded me of WWZ. No spoilers and I won't say which one I liked better! I hear Spielberg has the rights to it and it would make an exciting movie.
