2017 Reading Challenge discussion

I've been reading this guy's blog for over a decade by now, I think, and he's been writing really well for all of that time. He went to writing school and finally churned out a book that got published after getting a bunch of short stories sold. It seems like the book is really popular and not just because people are being nice to him. I love the premise of the book and I really look forward to reading it whenever I get to it this year.
