Thanks for requesting! We got a kitten and with it being school holidays as well my life is chaos right now.

I can start reading this weekend with you. I'm super curious why the average rating is so low for a Lanyon book.

My daughter has gone travelling round south america for 6 weeks so we have her dog Lola ..shes a cocker spaniel and mad as a box of frogs . How i havent gone flying down the stairs is a mystery

Started..our Jeff is not having a good welcome to our country 😄

It reminded me at first of 'The 39 Steps' ( which i happened to wat h the other night) where they are hasing him everywhere.
But now its a bit farcical ,

Its taking me ages as im having to google all these wonderful buildings he keeps mentioning 😄😄

Finished this morning , will wait till youve finished too . There was some good points for SH , but no bonus points unfortunately 😕

I started yesterday but didn't get very far. Will read some more tonight

This book was so cute in the best way. I also liked travelling with Jefferson. Sometimes travel books can feel a bit pretentious but this felt fun and interesting.

I get if you're going in hoping for a traditional romance you could find it lacking. Maybe it would have benefited from a prologue and epilogue, or maybe some random flashbacks at the beginning of each chapter showing how to two fell in love and fell apart, but I personally enjoyed it.
