Mayor Tara Charleston comes to Josie, asking for her discretion about her “friendship” with Vera when she worked at Bliss, the hair salon. Josie doesn’t trust her (would you?) and thinks she’s covering something else up (she was). Why would she think Josie would ever feel obliged to do her any personal favors?

Tara has never been a fan of Josie, and I have no idea why Tara thought Josie would do her any favors. This little visit on served to focus Josie on the salon and Vera's customers sooner rather than later.
