My character does not like the dark, storms, or fire, and I do not want my character in the water realm. What do you suggest?

Your character doesn't have to like any of the elements. Its just were she was born/lives. Her personality is not affected by the realm she lives in. If you have any ideas on how to solve this then please tell me, I'm really open for changing anything.
