Read this earlier in the year for one of the seasonal Reading Challenges. Thoroughly enjoyed, would love a movie adaptation!
I just finished reading this and it was amazing. Dark with some shimmers of humour, it was a great read.
Not entirely sure I'll get to read this one within this year, let alone during September, but I am interested 👀
I read this just a few weeks ago, and I thought it was great. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat.
Shhhh, I haven’t started it yet, Libby decided to dump all of my really want to read books all at once! 😂
i found a physical copy but there is a hold on it too. Glad to hear everyone is loving it, makes me want to read it even more.
Loved this one and glad to see others are liking it too! What I was impressed with was how dark and gory it was. Perfect for horror! 🤣
I absolutely loved this! I went in blind, and wow did she come out swinging with this one. Enjoyed it from start to finish. 5 stars!
I'd like to read this, but I'm 17th on 4 copies at the library so not looking good for getting it this month.
Just finished! Interesting concept, but I understand the real horror is the treatment of Asian women.
Just finished, and I’m honestly conflicted—sad, disturbed, but completely wowed by the author. It’s haunting and beautiful, and it’s definitely sticking with me
I enjoyed this although I felt the second half was not as strong as the first. The characters are little too accepting of the situation they find themselves in and the ending, although it fits the allegory of the story, was a little bit of a let down. It's well written though and creepy at times. and unintentionally funny at others.
