Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Here are some questions to help get the conversation started! Feel free to look up discussion questions specific to this book or come up with your own. Just make sure any questions that contain spoilers are under spoiler tags.
Discussion questions are not required but may be a fun way to talk about the book and get to know each other!

Prior to starting:
What prompted you to join this buddy read?
Have you read this author before? What do you think of their other books?

Mid-read:
What character or ideas do you relate to the most and why?
Do you have any favorite quotes or scenes?

After reading:
What was enjoyable or not-so-enjoyable about this book?
Did this book change your perception about anything, either within the book (character development) or in real life?

Beth | 1612 comments I'm going to join this one. It's been on my TBR since Jan 2024. And it's on Kindle Unlimited. Woo hoo!

Susan | 659 comments I'm really looking forward to reading this! Maybe the first book I read in September :)

Surabhi Diwan | 349 comments I loved this book and the timelines and interconnections.
I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did !

Beth | 1612 comments I'm just starting today, using both the audiobook and a digital copy. So far, I'm enjoying the narrators.

Beth | 1612 comments Finished today. This was enjoyable enough. I really liked the connections between the generations, and the various timelines. The narrators of the audiobook were quite good. One thing I didn't like was that the men were written very 2-dimensional. There was no exploration of them or their motives, other than they were just really bad bad men. I understand this book wasn't meant to be about them, but still...

Susan | 659 comments Finished this yesterday. I enjoyed the story and the different time lines. I'm glad multiple people narrated the audio book, it helped me keep track of which timeline I was in.

Dominique | 1242 comments Doing the audio, about 30% in and like the stories.

Dominique | 1242 comments I finished. I liked it gave it a 3 stars.

I liked the different stories and how they all became aligned together.

i di agree with Beth about the men in the book and needed more. Felt like they were basically the same man but in different timelines. I do think that was the point that she was making that no matter the period, it repeats.
