Hi! I'm a newbie here and thought I would drop in and say hey! I have just finished writing my first LGBTQ+ fiction book - set in Brighton, UK - and am in the process of proofreading it - hoping to publish it soon! :)
I am a bi guy from Birmingham, UK. I loved English at school; absolutely loved using my vivid imagination to write stories and l was 16 last time I wrote one!
Over the past year or so, I had contemplated writing another story and last month, I decided to go for it to see if I still could! I scribbled down some notes - outline, characters and the setting and set about working on it.
As soon as I started typing the story, I couldn't stop! I kept on coming up with new ideas as I went along and started getting into the character's heads - what they'd be thinking, how they'd react in certain situations and so on.
I hope to check out some good, LGBTQ+ themed books on here what people recommend :)
