History: Karina Syn grew up in rural Mexico, raised in secrecy by her mother, a Skinwalker, and her father, a Wendigo. From an early age, she battled a dual nature: a powerful connection to nature and a dark hunger she barely controlled. When she turned 16, her parents sent her to a school for mythical creatures, hoping she'd find acceptance and learn to master her abilities.

Type of childhood: Ace has a relatively good childhood. His parents were both supportive and kind, and his brother was amazing. He would hang out with his brother more than friends because, well, he had none. They would go to the arcade together and even hang out with his friends. Soon, everything changed. Ace was around 11, and his brother was nowhere to be found when he came home from school. Ace's parents weren't home since they were at an important meeting. He was going to ask his brother to take him to Chili's, since they always did when their parents were away for a meeting. When Ace couldn't find him, he went to their backyard, and there his brother was. On a tree. Ace's mouth opened in a silent scream, his eyes welling up. Tears started pouring from his eyes as he ran over and tried to lift his brother's body to reopen his brother's airway, but the body was already lifeless. He had to go to an institute after that, to rehabilitate. He was said to hallucinate, but he's all good now.
