After Caitlin calls to berate her for taking Braintree’s side and then breaks down into sobs, Nikki realizes that Zach is her son. And she learns that her partner Liam has been seeing Caitlin. Did you guess either or both before the reveal? How do you feel about Liam being in a relationship with Caitlin?

I guessed she was Zach's mother, but not that she was Liam's secret girlfriend. There isn't enough foreshadowing for the latter.

I didn't guess either fact. I don't have a problem with Liam dating the reporter. I don't think he will be feeding her information about crimes he is investigating unless they use her to help smoke out a killer.

I had guessed that she was Zach's mother. I totally missed that she was the woman Liam was seeing. I'm interested to see where the relationship will go.

I had guessed that she was Zach's mother. Missed the Liam ~ Caitlin connection, lol. I'm not sure about them having a relationship. Seems sort of like a conflict of interest. It will be interesting to see how they're relationship goes. Not sure Caitlin can turn off the reporter part of her....

I'm with you all. I guessed that she was Zach's mother or a close relative. I didn't get the relationship with Liam. A cop/reporter relationship doesn't go on for long in most series I've read. Usually, the reporter wants the inside scoop. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
