The group read for September is: The Names by Florence Knapp. Join in the discussion and post your thoughts below. Remember to highlight if your post contains SPOILERS at the top of your post. Enjoy!

First I'll have to track down a copy....

Sue Weston | 19 comments I’m looking forward to plugging back in to the bookclub, having missed a couple of months. Just trying to decide whether to e:read, listen or read in old money!

Spoilt for choice ;)

Lucy | 71 comments halfway through this and really enjoying it.

Lucy | 71 comments such an interesting idea for a story, a bit gruelling at times, but I love the characters and different plots within the story, even though they all are the same story essentially.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, Lucy. I need to finish my current book before I can start...

Vanessa | 1 comments I’ve had this one on my TBR list for a little while, and had started it before I’d seen it was your pick. I felt invested in their lives and choices, keen to see how each turned out. Definitely a read I would recommend to others.

Lucy | 71 comments I agree Vanessa. I wasn't sure it would live up to all the hype, but I'm hooked that's for sure.

Susie | 54 comments I read this last month and found it a compelling though difficult read at times. I too, recommend it.

Lucy | 71 comments I really enjoyed this book.
is it one I'd read again?....probably at some point as I'm sure I missed important parts.

I loved the way it took you through the lives of the characters in different versions of their lives, but also, parts of it were similar regardless of which name.

It's definitely an enjoyable read.

I've still not found a book of the year yet though
everything I read currently is just not quite what I'm looking for. There's still time!

Cathy B | 3 comments Hi all, I’m nearly finished this. It’s very compelling and id definitely recommend it but I’m starting to process some issues with it too- which when I’m finished I think I’ll be able to fully form

I haven't started yet, I have a couple of other books I need to get through first....

I'm wondering if it's similar to Kate Atkinson's 'Life After Life' (which is brilliant). Anyone read both and can compare?

Charlotte | 32 comments I’ve now finished this after finding an affordable e-book version. I really liked it and was moved to tears on the train towards the end. I’m not sure if I picked up what ‘the moral of the story’ was though, if there was one. Perhaps I stupidly missed the point, but enjoyed it anyway.

sammie | 1 comments i really loved this. found it an easy read and i was reaching for it often. really loved the idea.
