I'm reading it for the Toys/Objects challenge.

I need to audio again 😫

I enjoyed this one just a little less than the first one, probably just because it wasn't the first time I'd met Murderbot having read book 1. But I'm thinking like 3.75 stars instead of 4.
One of my favorite quotes: "you may have noticed that for a terrifying murderbot I fuck up a lot." I hear that, Murderbot!

Well bk 2 is going the same way 😢😢😢, but i will persevere

Like C, in book 1, I was a bit confused on why he would leaving.. but book 2 solved that..
(view spoiler) .
I kinda like Murderbot more and more, the more I read his series.. and ART looks like it'll be a good addition as well
Anyway, I will be checking out the next book, maybe not in the near future, unless a challenge requires it..

I also like how short these are, honestly. It's nice to take such a small bite of the story and know there's more to come, and that a huge world is being slowly built.

especially for how short they are--I agree. They are on KU here.

Also, to the endings, I feel like this is written almost more like a serial. Has anyone watched the tv show? i feel like it probably translates pretty well.

Is Murderbot making a friend in the transport?"
Yes, definitely a friend, and I also thought that will both Murderbot and ART are more genderneutral than not, I felt like ART was more female and Murderbot was more male (but that could also be Skarsgaard).

I did the same thing. Lol

But on a positive i did like ART ..probably more.than Murderbot tbh
I preferred the first half of the book where their friendship developed rather than the mystery which was a bit slow .
No surprise but probably wont continue the series
