Who do you think was the real leader in Watership Down?

I really do think it was Hazel. By the end, Bigwig has learned to become quite a talented leader in his own right. But he learned that from Hazel, who was a very talented at delegating. He didn't try to do everything himself; rather he found the strengths of others and used them to the fullest advantage.
