When they find Nysa’s backpack, Josie astutely recognizes a wrapper with brownie crumbs bearing a unique symbol. Did you know she was on to something at the time? Were you able to start developing theories of your own? What did you think was going on? Was it ever a consideration that Nysa jumped into that pool and drowned without some outside interference?

A pot brownie was a viable conclusion, especially with the obviously drug related sticker. I was thinking some hypnosis suggestion. I never for an instant believed there wasn't an outside influence.

I didn’t believe that girl drowned on her own, either. When the brownie wrapper showed up, it set me on that path where drugs had something to do with the drowning.
