Linda Martin (lindajm) | 139 comments What are you reading now?

Summer is nearly over but it is still fire season where I live. (Klamath National Forest, Northern California) The fire that burned my home started on September 8, 2020.

I just finished reading Shepherd of the Hills by Howard Bell Wright.

My next fiction audiobook is The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston. I found it mentioned on a list of recommended novels "101 Great Books Recommended by the College Board." I've had that list on my blog for years and want to read more of them now.

My current nonfiction book is John Adams by David McCullough.

Ian | 102 comments I just finished Timothy Keller by Collin Hansen for about a Pastor, The Meal Jesus Gave Us by N T Wright for about the Lord's Supper in preparation for our monthly Communion, and Questioning Evangelism by Randy Newman for about Evangelism.

I got 22 left and I am ready to tear through them.

Future Ones:
On Christ and Anti-Christ by Hippolytus for on End Times
Rebecca's Prayer for Lincoln by Jane Yolen for kid's book on Prayer
The Friend Who Forgives by Dan Dewitt for a Kid's Book on Forgiveness
Rembrandt Is In the Wind by Russ Ramsey for a Church History
The Choice of Magic by Michael Manning for a friend suggestion.
