This was quite the entertaining novel!

Right? I love the various couples throughout time. Especially the pirates.

And, there was a gold toilet! Remind you of any other blowhard?

Oh yes, it did remind me of another!

I thought the pirates were great! But, Lila's plan with the toilet and the key fob was brilliant!

I do wonder if that is a thing. Makes me want to try it.

But not with YOUR key fob, right?!?! LOL

I'm thinking of getting a part time job at the Phoenix Open golf tournament as a valet parking person. Then, the shitty tippers would learn to be better.

I'm really enjoying this book! The last few days have been ... unusual, and I've been only able to read ebooks and audiobooks, so haven't been able to read this one really until today. I almost wish it was an ebook so I could neatly save all the quotes I want :)

I love books like these, where you have to readjust your reading, and settle into the author's writing rhythm. Love all the etymology, and the aptly named Eleusis (which I had to google lol) Just having a lot of fun reading it, so thanks again for the suggestion!
