James Zenner | 4 comments I’m quite new to this world of book creation and trying to draw attention to my work. I have three novellas on Amazon, and opened a giveaway of 50 ebooks for the first in the series. It has been a month since the ebooks were delivered. What is a reasonable timeframe to receiving the first feedback? I am understandably curious to find out if I’m on the right track or wasting money trying to market them and should just write for fun. For reference, the book is The Telomere Paradox by James R. Zenner. Thank you for your time.

Christopher Gamlin | 1 comments A month is about the usual turn around time from someone getting the book to the reviews starting to come in. It often takes longer. One of the things I will say though is most new authors average about 1 review per 100 sales so if 50 free books is what you gave away you might not get any at all.

James Zenner | 4 comments Interesting, 1 per 100. That doesn’t seem like a useful ROI. That would have been good to know before trying the giveaway.
