Jacob D. Salzer (jacob_d_salzer) | 3 comments Hello! My name is Jacob. I'm the author of Unplugged: Haiku & Tanka, published by Lulu Press, Inc. in 2022. This book encourages readers to take a break from technology and be immersed in the natural world. I find that haiku connects me with Nature and allows me to live in the present moment. I am curious if anyone else in this group also reads and/or writes haiku as a practice to connect with Nature? Thank you to whoever started this group! With kind regards, Sincerely, Jacob

Hi there,

You find more information about Green Steps here: https://www.greensteps.me/

We develop nature connection formats for schools.

I was introduced to Haiku by Andy Couturier who wrote The Abundance of Less. And yes, I think it’s a great way to connect with nature.

Not sure exactly about your motivation to reach out to this group, but I think it wd be interesting the create a Best Practice for schools and publish it here - with reference to your book: https://ark.greensteps.me/library

If you are interested write to me: knut@greensteps.me
