I would highly recommend looking into the candlelight/gas lamp romance genre 💗🕯️ These are typically shorter stories with low stakes plots, cozy/cottage core atmosphere, adorable magical creatures & small town vibes. But throw spice on top of that 🥵

So, I just started the addicted series by Krista and Becca Ritchie. I'm so glad that I started this series! The first few books of the series is slow but Connor and Rose's book is the best.

The Fall Risk by Abby Jimenez is a really cute short novella. I always find novellas a good pick me up if you don’t have the energy for big reads but still want a nice story 💛
