I'm going to play Devil's Advocate because I'm guessing (might be wrong) that most people aren't actually going to take this point of view
The United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) states that at least 4 shots were fired at Kennedy (as opposed to the previously-thought 1), with a "high probability" that there were at least 2 gunmen, and a conspiracy between multiple people was probable. This indicates that, if Lee Harvey Oswald was even involved, he was likely working with someone else. Oswald being shot soon after by nightclub owner Jack Ruby was highly suspicious. Though the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald had acted alone, the Commission was arranged by the Kennedy's vice president Lynden B. Johnson, and there's another popular theory (started mainly by attorney and author Craig Zirbel) that LBJ was involved in the murder of JFK.
So I think he actually died but it wasn't who we thought it was who killed him

Mostly Wikipedia, as one does 🤷♀️
Thoughts?

I'm not sure but if I'm being honest I have multiple family members who think that it was the CIA's doing 🤷🏻♀️
