This is a discussion to share book recommendations you have! Just comment them. Basically just share your fave books and if you want, add a note on what its about (NO SPOILERS). Can be any genre

I recommend I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys
- Set in 1989 Romania. A 17-year-old boy is blackmailed by the secret police into becoming an informant. Facing the impossible choice of betraying his family and friends or risking severe punishment, he decides to use his position to undermine the dictator and secretly expose the truth of the regime to the world

Anna Buckroth I finished Alchemised a couple days ago and I’m still recovering. 😭 Cannot recommend enough!

message 7: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa | 1 comments The Trial of the Sun Queen by Nisha J Tuli, completed 4 book series and The Kindred Curse Saga by Penn Cole book 4 is still in the works

message 8: by Autumn (new)

Autumn | 1 comments If you're looking for a fantasy series that will completely consume you, try Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. This series has everything: a skilled female assassin, intricate world-building, magic, political intrigue, and a slow-burn romance that will keep you hooked until the very end. The character development is incredible, and you'll find yourself laughing, crying, and cheering alongside them. Trust me, once you start, you won't be able to put it down! 🥰

message 9: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Williams | 3 comments If you're in the mood for a festive romance that's grounded in reality and not too cheesy, try Christmas Exodus

Rando Mando Reads (randomandoreads) | 3 comments If you are looking for poetic writing and a unique story that hasn’t been told before read
The First Girl Child
The Everlasting
Wild Reverence

There felt so fresh and so well done

𝔖𝔲𝔫𝔟𝔢𝔞𝔪‧₊˚ ☽ ⋅ {kind of a hiatus} Ok! So my book recommendation is (A (idk sorry)) The Weaver Bride

Lovett is this 18 year old silkwitch. She has 3 years to find a husband, specifically a Weaver husband, otherwise she will be sent to the cloisters. Lovett is a pickpocket and a thief, not rich, not powerful. One day she spots a young man, one who is her age. He has a beautiful rose gold pocket watch that seem to *burn* when it catches the light.
‘It must be Weaver made.’
Soon enough, the Weaver son catches her facade, and offers her a deal.
Go to the competition to become the Weaver King’s son’s bride (sorry that was rlly long to read) and find his sister’s murderer, or be caught right there and then.
Lovett learns to blend in, how to win, and also learns secrets. Has she gone too deep?

Includes:
A LOVE TRIANGLE
A murder mystery…
A bajillion lovable characters
Competition

˚₊· ୨୧ Sage Of the Hollow ˚₊· ୨୧ (sage_booklover) | 43 comments The Tales of Arcana Fortune by Hafsa A Jawad, and the Crave series by Tracy Wolff!! 🙌

JT Reads Anything | 30 comments @Delusional, I just started The Compelling Fates Saga and the first book was great. It’s a four book series and completed if you wanna give it a try. First book is A Tongue So Sweet and Deadly. Political intrigue, Fae, romance. Light spice so far but I have a feeling it will get a little spicier in the next books.

sarah (life's different rn) | 4 comments the ultimate romantasy has got to be Once Upon A Broken Heart

liv {depresso espresso} I would recommend illusion of stars, the book thief, anything by Kate crew, six of crows duology, one dark window, and binding thirteen!

liv {depresso espresso} Also highly recommend Phantasma and Enchantra, I loved these sooo much

message 26: by Haley (new)

Haley Rae (haleyyraeee) | 17 comments I recommend The Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy and Broken Bloodlines Series by Sadie Kincaid.

Broken Bloodlines has a significant amount of spice so just wanted to put that there in case you're not into heavy spice! But the plot and story is also amazing, in my opinion.

message 27: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca Shatter Me
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

message 28: by CLASH (new)

Fátima Silva (fatimaapsilva) | 4 comments Daggermouth :) (But read the trigger warning)

message 37: by Aleryia (new)

Aleryia Willow | 2 comments Ok so my current book rec is An arcane study of stars
Just finished it today and it was absolutely brilliant.
Has a real dark academia vibe to this book with academic magic school and professors and enemies. Has some spicy romance (just a touch though not a lot).
Has a great ending and rivals to lovers.
Fabulous book :)
Was only released a couple weeks ago :)

。・゚゚・lulu・゚゚・。 | 4 comments The Gateway Chronicles!! I am DESPERATE for people to talk to this book series about😭 it’s a romantasy, very atmospheric and theres sorta a love triangle but it’s not the type of thing to get on your nerves. basically there’s a girl named Darcy who has to go to this family summer camp thing with a girl she DOES NOT want to be friends with. She manages her way through a weird portal thing and finds out she is part of a prophecized group of six. Now she learns she has to defend an entire kingdom from an evil shadowy monster type of thing. Sooo yea I recommend it✨

Book 1 is “The Six” if you wanna get started💖
(Also I wanna say it depends on which version you get but if its like the green cover for book 1 and you keep getting that version, the covers make SO MUCH sense at the end of the book)

message 39: by Renata (new)

Renata Nopine | 4 comments I recommend this book, "Where Shadows Know My Name," a dark fantasy romance about loss, healing, and the kind of love that doesn't come to save you—it comes to remind you that you were always worth saving.

For all the girls who have felt too much and shown too little.

For all the people who have wanted to disappear—and found a reason to stay.

Topics: romance with a shadow creature ✦ protective love interest ✦ grief and healing ✦ slow romance development ✦ he fell in love first ✦ chosen family ✦ therapy is mentioned (in a positive way) ✦ hopeful endingWhere the Shadows Know My Name: Some monsters don't want to destroy you. Some want to be the reason you survive.
