i'm just going to go over some quick rules/guidelines for our group:
a week before every new month, we will vote through a group poll on what our botm will be! usually I will put in my pick for a book first that aligns with the theme (genre, seasonal, tbr, re-read, etc.) to start off, and then we all can write-in what we want to read. there will be a second poll to narrow the choices down (no write-ins), and on the first of the month, the pick will be announced. you do not have to read the book for the month, whether you cannot access a copy or have already read or dnfed the book recently.
we will have a specific topic for the book listed under the year folder, where we can comment our thoughts while reading, have discussions afterwards, and link our reviews. you do not have to, but it would be great if you could like and comment on other members' reviews to show support! (you do not have to post a review either)
again, please be kind and considerate of others; we are here to read and have fun, not bring others down or criticize their opinions! keep this in mind while posting in the group and interacting with anyone :)
if you have any suggestions to these rules/guidelines, please feel free to comment below! do keep in mind, however, that this is not the place for a conversation, only questions 🤔
also, feel free to invite your friends! if we get past fifty members, I will be looking for another mod to help me out (as I am in school and cannot be goodreads 24/7)
thank you guys for being here! it means so much to me 😁
