Imagine a future where water is scarcer than gold. In Vividwater, AotearoaNZ is one of the few places with drinkable water, yet most of it is sold overseas while locals barely survive.

The story follows Alex, a memory machine operator, who gets caught between survival, love, and a system that values profit over people.

It made me wonder,Jacqueline Owens if our world really reached that level of drought and scarcity, how would ordinary people survive? Would you fight, adapt, or leave everything behind?

Desalination is a viable, tested and working solution, but who knows where our world heads. 🤷🏿‍♂️
