It's been a while since I've read this. I think it'll be cool to reread it. I've been watching the TV adaptation on AMC and there are some significant differences.

Looking forward to the discussion about it. I'll enjoy re-reading it yet again. I love Anne Rice's work.

I tried to read it in the late 1980s and it never took. Wonder if the broken down me will enjoy it better.

I loved this book as a brooding Goth teenager. I re-read it relatively recently and found it... perfect for brooding Goth teenagers but perhaps a little bit overblown for more mature tastes. Should be a fun one for the group to read.

I read this many moons ago back when I was a "Goth teenager" - Hmmm. lol. I wonder how I will find it now?!

I should get around to reading the sequel.

S&L picking a book I have already read (and decades ago)?! Call me lucky. I am VERY excited for the discussions on this one.

Lookin forward to a re-read of this. As a San Franciscan and an SF State grad, I have always had an affinity for Anne Rice.

I’m a listener for about the past seven years but I don’t post much because I usually have my books picked out months in advance so I usually don’t join in the book club.

But

Interview with the vampire is the best selection you’ve had in years - definitely reading along this month.
