As I continue to experience growth daily; honoring God's mandates and principles over my life, I can reflect and realize despite my experiences, I am greatly loved.
I owe God ME.

I have spent my entire life longing to please Jesus, longing to be more like Him and less like me. I have often failed. I realize daily how much He means to me and how much I need Him. I have never really felt as if I have fit into the world we live in. As I see the idols and struggles, the desires of people running around with really no direction, it saddens me. People are searching for anything to fill the hole in their hearts that only Jesus can fill.
As a little girl, I longed for a home filled with Jesus when I became an adult—baking in the kitchen while hearing children playing, laughing, having fun, and doing assigned chores. While God’s peace fills the air, we hear a door open and, “Daddy’s home.” Everyone runs to the door to greet him joyfully, feeling his security as he seeks to lead just like Jesus.
Ephesians 5 21-33 are excellent scriptures in God’s word on the instructions for Christian Households. God has put these deep desires in each of our hearts, but the world has distorted them significantly. God is opening hearts back to the truth and bringing these desires back into homes today. Thank you, Jesus! He will continue as hearts are changed and turn back to Him. This is one of my prayers.
Revival is taking place all over the world! It is time. It is His timing!
My life hasn’t always turned out exactly as I had dreamed. Many heartbreaks, fears, and sadness have been part of my journey. I have also had great memories, times of celebration, and great joy. I guess that is the story for most of us.
What is it that we really desire?
I think of Jesus and His words in Luke 22:42: “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
I never imagined that God would call me to do some things that seemed so hard after I had prayed for so long for something different. He knows what’s best for me. He knows what’s best for all of us. Sometimes it’s hard to see it as we walk through it, but when we get to the other side, we understand it. This is why Faith is believing what we can’t see.
Our emotions and our will can get in the way sometimes. They certainly have for me.
The Cinderella story I heard as a child has never been a part of my life, but what has been more rewarding for me are the lessons of Jesus’ love for me. In all I have faced, He has always been there for me. He continues to teach me that love isn’t a feeling, it’s a choice, and sometimes it means dying of ourselves to love. He did that for all of us on the cross, and He said in Luke 23:34, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. And they divided up his clothes for casting lots.”
I am grateful for the life God has given me now and for the courage to write and share our story with the world. My prayer is that if only one person comes to know Jesus’ love through my writings, it will be worth it all. After all, writing is healing, and God uses it in many ways, even in my own life. The gift of being an award-winning author has been a journey that I never thought was possible.
What I have come to realize in my life is powerful and true:
No matter what you are going through or how hard it seems, Life isn’t about us. It’s about Jesus, and as we continue to walk with Him daily, He guides us through it all. We need only to be still. Exodus 14:14.
We don’t always have to understand what’s going on around us. We have to keep walking in that good fight of faith. He may bring us the life we have longed for since being a child, and He may not, but whatever life brings us, the great news is that one day, we will see Jesus face to face and live with Him for eternity, a hope that fills us with joyful anticipation.
After all, it really isn’t about us. It’s about Him. Our lives, struggles, and joys all point back to Him. He is the center of our existence, the reason for our hope, and the source of our peace. It’s all about Him.
We are blessed, and our greatest gift here on earth is knowing we have a Savior in Jesus Christ, who longs to spend time with us. If we draw closer to Him, the closer He is to us. James 4:8. One day, we will hear the words we have longed for: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Lord, may your will be done!
