Esther Kompis | 4 comments What was your very first light-novel you read either online or ebook or in paper form?

Mine was Ai no Kusabi Vol. 1: Stranger around 2005 when I found it in english on a russian website. I already watched the old anime OVA several times, but the light-novel was even more fantastic. Despite the little bit poor english translation, I really enjoyed it. I read all the volumes and I was crying a lot.

Mine was definitely a anime/manga tie-in, but I can't remember which one. I think it might have been .hack//AI buster

I think it might be considered a light novel now. If so, it was Miyazawa Kenji’s Night on the Milky Way Railroad,Night on the Milky Way Railroad. I have multiple translations of his story.

Shelleyan | 2 comments I was looking for something that had a similar magic system as The Irregular at Magic High School. Found a recommendation for The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind. I've been stuck in light novel hell for 7 years now. 😅

I need to read more of Bookworm. Loved volume 1 but haven't had the chance to dive into more.
