Hi

Librarians aren't meant to give tips - & it seems very rare for members who post here asking for them to become GR Librarians.

If you haven't read the header of this group, it is a good idea to.

The only thing we can suggest is to make sure you mention what languages you are fluent in.

Thank you for your reply! I read it, but I figured it was just pointers about the questions in the quiz. Sorry for spamming here; it was kind of a last resort.

I guess it’s just not meant to be, or maybe it’s not needed (I mentioned the languages of course). I was just wondering, since you don’t get any feedback about why you were rejected. So I was just wondering if it is worth to try again or if I would be wasting my time. I realised now that you can't answer that for me :)

Tawnya | 4082 comments The essay seems to be the deciding factor. There is no penalty for taking it again. Don't get discouraged. There are some who passed multiple times before being accepted. Of course, there others who were never granted the status. There doesn't seem to be a pattern on what "hits" and what "misses". Good luck to you.

message 6: by Tawnya (new)

Tawnya | 4082 comments After you pass the test, you are asked to tell WHY you would like to be a librarian. There are people who have passed the test with 100%, but for whatever reason they have never been chosen. As I said in my earlier comment, That essay seems to be the deciding factor.

Since I am unsure of how much we are allowed to discuss, I will end it there.
