Hi Jamie! This challenge is 4 lines at a time and California isn't in your current set of lines. I've put the book on hold - you're welcome to switch and use it for a different word, or save it until "california" comes up in later lines

Ok, that's my fault then. I missed that in the rules and thought we could play any of the lines that are showing on the spreadsheet. I'll keep it to use towards California. So far, just Joud and I are reading for this challenge, and I'm not sure I'll get another book to work for this one lol. I'll play it safe :)

Hi! I'm running the challenge in chunks of 4 - that's why the lines are colour-coded in groups of 4 on the SS. You complete the first group of four before moving onto the next one. Hopefully that clears everything up!

Hi Joud! The words "was" and "on" aren't needed for your current lines, so I placed those books on hold. The book you posted for "winter's" is less than 100 pages, so I can only give you page points. Your team will still need to read a book for that word

Ok, so just want to clarify. In the rules it states that: Teams will be given the first four lines of their song to complete. And for every one of the lines that are finished your team will be able to work on the next line in the song.(lines do not need to be completed in order. But lines that you are given will go in order)

Even if you aren't showing the next line, we are still able to work on the next line if we have one line completed, right? Or are you saying that we have to complete the block and are not able to work on the next lines until the block is complete?

I apologize, that line in the rules is poorly phrased and I'll go change it. Moving all of the teams one line at a time like that would get really confusing for me and for the SS, so we're going four lines at a time. You must complete the first block to move onto the next one.
