Lisa, did you read Icarus with us? I can't remember

I did read Icarus. I liked it so its part of the reason I said yes to this one.

I'm gonna start this on tonight and hope to finish by Monday.

so far so good. 85 pages in. I don't usually like the short chapters, but it's working for this one. just got to the really creepy. just wondering how it's going to work out.

I forgot the short chapter structure from Icarus, but it doesn't bother me here, either. I'm only about 30 pages in, but hooked so far. I really like Ancrum!

I'm about 30% in and I love it. I just really like Ancrum's writing, even thought it's YA. It doesn't feel childish, to me.

This one is odd, I think, with all the farming and bartering, and rich Yulia. (view spoiler)[and what is up with the police and Hollis' mom? (hide spoiler)]

this author might become an automatic read for me.

Same. So far so good.

I'm about 50% through. I can see the connection between walt and Hollis. I'm still not sure about the ending...hope it's a happy one. and we find out the deal with Annie and Walt.

Finished and it’s very satisfying.

It was a very interesting ending. I was thinking it would be different, but I'm not mad at how it ends.
