I enjoyed the book although I did guess correctly pretty early on that Andrew would be part of some doomsday cult group. The plot kept my interest and I liked the characters with their cultural references to sci-fi franchises from The Twilight Zone to Star Trek to Star Wars. The book actually reminded me more of the original Outer Limits series with its emphasis on monsters.

I finally got around to starting this one. I am about halfway through and am sucked into the discovery of the "mysteries" of the old building. So far I wouldn't call this spooky or scary, but more intriguing in a sci-fi kind of way. The characters are great and I am enjoying their "adventures".

Finished this one and really enjoyed it. I've already read the second in this series and ready to move on to the next book. All of them can be read as a series or as standalones.
