Think it is great to see this, as it is very different to the typical Goldsmiths author (white, male, middle aged, literary academic and relatively obscure author - see eg CD Rose). I am about halfway through - and it’s intriguing but will be fascinating to see how the author lands the end.
I thought she landed it really well I thought this was refreshingly different on what is normally such an astonishingly insular and non- diverse prize.

I agree with Simon Okotie: it contains elements of several genres, and yet manages to be very carefully structured.
I really liked this. I listened to the audio and thought it might be hard to follow, but it wasn't at all. The author read the book, which doesn't always work but in this case it was helpful, I think.So much great, great satire. Dempsey's whole Insta/health/new age obsession was hilarious. And lots of commentary on motherhood slipped in there, particularly in the final sections.
I can no longer claim to dislike books with a time travel/alternate timeline component. This was so good.
