didn't make me cry but clutched my heart numerous times trying not to tear up
if you're looking for something on the darker side, I'd say "still beating" by Jennifer Hartman, but on the softer side, "you've reached sam" by dustin thao is really sad x
please look at triggers for still beating tho^^

Content warnings cover pretty much all violence and abuse, but its got a message and a meaning behind the ache. Its not for everyone--having a hard time getting readers because its heavy and dark and makes you bare witness to shit we know happens but overall ignore. Its called Salt In the Spine. I self published it last month.
