Biography, Autobiography, Memoir discussion

This is my first book. I wrote it to tell my sister's story and to give visibility to those suffering the same kind of abuse.

I entered it into the New York Big Book Awards on a whim and ended up with an 'Honoured Favourite' award for non-fiction.

I still can't believe it. I'm no one from nowhere. It's humbling.
