Red Rising

I'm looking for a series as good as Red Rising

I just finished the 6th book in the Red Rising series and now must wait until next year for book #7. I'm looking for recommendations of titles as good as these were. SF is not my usual genre so I'm unfamiliar with the authors or series. What do you consider to be excellent similar series?

Honestly this is a hard one I think. I've read the first three and have decided to wait till he finished the series to read the last ones. The biggest standout in this series is the pace and I've not come across much that matches it. I did read Name of the Wind after this with a short pallet cleanser book in the middle. I would say it is on par maybe better but if you really like the pacing of red rising you might struggle as it takes a while for the book to really get going. The other one that pops into mind would be the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons, the first book especially is pretty fast paced and the story is so good. If you want more scifi i would go that. Happy reading!
If you haven't given the Cradle series by Will Wight a try, I'd say go for that. 12 books all finished and a great adventure. Also if you don't like it after the first, you can just leave it as a one off. I enjoyed "Unsouled" though.
Other than that I'd always encourage folks to read "The Lies of Locke Lamora" but something similar to Red Rising though fantasy might be Malazan, book of the fallen for you
