The Dan Brown Challenge: Read any book by Dan Brown



Dan Brown is the author of The Da Vinci Code, a thriller that reached a seemingly unprecedented high and relentless pace of intensity, and it positively swept the nation. Seemed liked everyone who read books for pleasure was reading this book, and also many who didn’t normally read. I can’t remember a book with the same global effect since, … or at least not among grown adults. I’m sure a lot of well meaning adults bought Harry Potter and other books as gifts or otherwise hoping to get the kids in their life reading. Who knows how many actually read them, especially after the movies came out. Reading has tapered off about 40% since smartphones came on the scene and we may not see such a phenomenon again.
