starting this evening!

i'm excited for this one. I've had the book for a few years now, and keep meaning to read it every October, but it never fit with challenges before, so very happy I can finally get to it!

Started it and about 100 pages in so far.

Super atmospheric and tbh I was having a little trouble putting it down this morning!

So took my time finishing this, so that I'd be picking up my next print book just after the start of wheels.

But could have easily devoured this in a day. It was a smooth, easy read, and I enjoyed it a lot. definitely getting book 2!

Got to admit, I'm still curious as to (view spoiler)[ what exactly the creatures actually are, lol. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, the author never actually tells you. I kept waiting for this big reveal, and it never came. I actually did finish this in just a few hours. I really enjoyed it a lot as well.
