The Muse Writers Center in Norfolk, Virginia houses a physical library containing thousands of books, featuring great works of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, screenwriting, plays, writers resource books, books on craft, reference books, and more. Published works by the center's members, teachers, volunteers, and more are also stocked within this collection.
This Goodreads bookshelf is a virtual representation (work in progress) of the physical collection. We encourage you to browse our selections to see what we have to offer. If you are ever in Coastal Virginia, we encourage you to come check out our library.
The display of "currently reading" books on the main page, is our way of highlighting or featuring the books of members who are hosting events, teaching new classes, having book launches, and more. We are excited to promote the talent within our writing community.
The Muse library is a lending library for members only; however, the public is welcome to read books while at the center. Please visit our site to learn more about the workings of our physical library, as well as, how to become a member.
