I'm an autism advocate author / illustrator of children's fiction story picture books from Australia.
This group's name: Christian Schools, appeals to the nature of my published books with Ark House Kids, a Christian book publisher imprint of Initiate Media.
My latest book, Everything and Everybody Belong Somewhere, was published in June 2025.
Books that involve the five areas of health - physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and spiritual - are important discussion points for families.
Everything and Everybody Belong Somewhere is more than a story—it’s a message of hope for children navigating the complexities of starting school, especially those with autism or from refugee backgrounds.
This beautifully sensitive picture book is inspired by my real-life journey with my autistic grandson, who also experiences sensory processing disorder and restrictive eating. It’s a heartfelt reflection of the challenges—and joys—of finding connection in unfamiliar spaces.
I'm a passionate advocate for children with developmental challenges. My prior work with Australia’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Disability Employment Services (DES), helped families access vital support, therapies, and pathways to inclusion.
I'm a survivor of a life-threatening congenital condition and live with deep gratitude and a commitment to making every day count. My books—now in their fifth publication—are written from the heart and inspired by lived experience.
I completed a post graduate, Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science, and I am a member of: The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) NSW. Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Australia – NSW. Omega Writers Group Australia. The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) Australia .
FYI, Faithreading.com is a division of Initiate Media which lists Christian books for children and adults. Two of my books are listed here.
Here's the link to buy my recent book from Barnes and Noble.
