i have a good bit of hardcovers on my shelf so any of those could work but thinking of picking up Demon Copperhead, Big Swiss, or The Guest in the beginning of the year!
This is going to be a tough pick since I have a lot of hardcovers that have dust jackets.I'll just see what I don't have on my list already and then choose something from my wrapped TBR since I have several hardcovers wrapped for next year.
Again double dipping with a Bookclub read : Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. I’m listening to the audiobook but I checked and there are hardcover editions with dust covers.
Beyond the Call: The True Story of One World War II Pilot's Covert Mission to Rescue POWs on the Eastern Front by Lee Trimble was the first book I finished this year.
Just picked up A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers at the library. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I finished Dream Count by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and planned to use it for prompt 10. After some consideration, I decided that it is not totally appropriate for that prompt due to its reflection aspect and placed it here. It has a dust jacket AND bright spredge!
I attended an author event for King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby last year, but didn't get to read it in 2025, so I took this prompt as an opportunity to finally dig into it. I love Cosby's mysteries.

A dust jacket is a removable outer cover, usually made of paper, that protects a book’s cover and spine from dirt and damage. Dust jackets typically include all the standard cover information, and the side flaps may feature the book blurb or biographical information about the author. Dust jackets are found primarily on hardcover editions.
For this prompt, choose any book that has a dust jacket. You do not have to read the edition with the dust jacket. As long as at least one edition has a dust jacket, feel free to read that book in any format.
Some readers enjoy wrapping their books in paper to protect them. As a creative interpretation, you may choose any book that you’ve personally wrapped in a dust jacket or book sleeve.
