Good Omens The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch.I recognize the controversy with Gaiman but I have decided to separate the book from the reported actions of one of the authors.
I have several I could choose from my TBR...I will be reading ~ Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive by Stephanie Land
I just started reading The Atlas of Atlantis and Other Lost Civilizations: Discover the History and Wisdom of Atlantis, Lemuria, Mu and Other Ancient Civilizations by Joel Levy for this prompt.
Will also pair it with a film I first saw on the telly, and liked so much I bought my own copy.
Just bought this book yesterday and it's perfect for this prompt! The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder
THE ANARCHY: The East India Company, Corporate Violence, and the Pillage of an Empire by William DalrympleThis has been on my TBR for a while and I just realized my library has it now! This will be my #15 read! (Btw - it was nominated for several awards)
For this one, I'm going to read I'm a Therapist, and My Patient is Going to be the Next School Shooter: 6 Patient Files That Will Keep You Up At Night.
I have two that I'm debating on. If You See Them: Young, Unhoused, and Alone in America by Vicki Sokolik
How to Survive History: How to Outrun a Tyrannosaurus, Escape Pompeii, Get Off the Titanic, and Survive the Rest of History's Deadliest Catastrophes by Cody Cassidy
The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder, Insanity, and the Making of The Oxford English Dictionary by Simon Winchester - Finished 1/6/26
The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win by Gene Kim, Kevin Behr, and George Spafford. I initially pulled this book off my shelf for the "A Book That Cost You Nothing" challenge as it was given to me at a work conference, but then, I saw the subtitle and decided to pivot it to this challenge.
I read The Woman They Could Not Silence: One Woman, Her Incredible Fight for Freedom, and the Men Who Tried to Make Her Disappear. As is appears here it has a subtitle with a comma, but not all versions have the same subtitle.
I will read about a fascinating and interesting, although scary, subject: Poison: The History of Potions, Powders and Murderous Practitioners by Ben Hubbard
Stop Letting Everything Affect You: How to Break Free from Overthinking, Emotional Chaos, and Self-Sabotage- Daniel Chidiac. I do not really recommend this book. I did not like it at all. I think that it was relatively toxic and too religious. It was written in a weird way where the entire thing sounded like a multi level marketing motivational speech— made up of quips, quotes and proverbs and very rarely were sources cited.
I read "To the Gorge: Running, Grief, and Resilience & 460 Miles on the Pacific Crest Trail" by Emily Halnon
I read American Reich: A Murder in Orange County, Neo-Nazis, and a New Age of Hate by Eric Lichtblau
I used A Serial Killer's Daughter: My Story of Faith, Love, and Overcoming by Kerri Rawson for this prompt.
Completed - Tiny Gardens Everywhere: The Past, Present, and Future of the Self-Provisioning City by Kate Brown
The Wide Wide Sea: Imperial Ambition, First Contact and the Fateful Final Voyage of Captain James Cook by Hampton Sides
I read 📚 Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing FraudsBook by John Fugelsang
the audiobook was great, read by the author 🙃 a fresh perspective on the Bible and Faith
What On Earth Have I Done?: Stories, Observations, and AffirmationsIf you like books with gentle humor and inspiration, then you might like this one. The closest comparison I have to it is Chicken Soup for the Soul.
Spearhead — An American Tank Gunner, His Enemy, and a Collision of Lives in World War II; The Birth of Loud — Leo Fender, Les Paul, and the Guitar-Pioneering Rivalry That Shaped Rock ‘N’ Roll; Twilight of the Gods — War in the Western Pacific, 1944-1945
I read this one:
Jonathan Blitzer -- Everyone Who Is Gone Is Here: The United States, Central America, and the Making of a Crisis
“Blind Rage: A True Story of Sin, Sex, and Murder in a Small Arkansas Town” by Anita Paddock. A well documented story about out a murder and the suspects leading to the arrest and aftermath.
A Kim Jong-Il Production: The Extraordinary True Story of a Kidnapped Filmmaker, His Star Actress, and a Young Dictator's Rise to Power by Paul Fischer. It was sad that no one believed them after they were able to escape.

For this prompt, we’re looking for books with at least one comma in their subtitle. A comma is a punctuation mark in a sentence indicating a pause or used to separate items.
A subtitle is a secondary title that provides additional information to clarify the book’s content, theme, or purpose. Subtitles are most commonly found in non-fiction but may occasionally be found in fiction as well.
Keep in mind that different editions or books published in other regions may have alternate subtitles. As long as at least one edition has a comma in the subtitle, you can choose to read that book using any edition or format.
