Pari Seeley | 17 comments I’ve read some amazing books this year it is difficult to choose just one. I think I’ll pick The Seven and a half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. Only because I didn’t know what to expect and I really did enjoy it.

Vicki Willis | 555 comments What a great question.
I would say
The Women by Kristin Hannah The Women
It is not my usual read, and it was such a surprise that I loved it so much.

Excellent! Always fun when a book turns out to be a surprise favourite, isn’t it?

Vanessa Dargain | 521 comments A SHADOW OF ALL LIGHT by Fred Chapell was my best read of 2025 . It was a kinda weird story. I may read it again for better understanding . The subject (detachable shadows) still intrigues
me .

I am glad you liked it. I am hoping I will! Reading the synopsis I've been on the fence about this one, but there has been so much hype about it I finally requested it from the library and its on my pile to read after the read-a-thon.
